The Process Engineering Manager is responsible for ensuring EHS, quality, productivity, and processing standards for all products manufactured at the Quattordio Plant. The role will utilize best practices and offer proactive support to Department Managers in accordance with site goals and company policy. The manager will also work closely with the Engineering Department and lead the Process Engineering team to drive continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Process Engineering team (4 resources) to support operations and drive improvement initiatives.
- Oversee and support the commissioning and start-up of new equipment and production lines.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methods to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
- Coordinate the development and maintenance of process documentation, work instructions, and quality standards.
- Investigate and resolve quality or process issues, implementing effective corrective actions.
- Foster the development of team capabilities and ensure strong collaboration across departments.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in production process management, ideally with a background in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
- Proven leadership, analytical, and team management skills.
- Proficiency with IT management systems (ORACLE R12 preferred) and strong communication abilities in English.
