Summary:
The Business Modeling and Governance group, is one of three groups in the engineering department at SAP Signavio. We value consistency, collaboration, re-usability, and simplicity. We strive for a coherent user experience across the entire product suite and an effective and efficient cross-product development experience. To this effect, our teams provide and advance Connectivity, Modeling and Gobernance solutions for the Signavio Business Process Transformation Suite.
The way we work:
Join a passionate, cross-functional team that is developing solutions to advance the Connectivity around SAP Signavio. The team does user research, designs and validates concepts, builds incrementally, to create the best possible value for our customers and partners. You closely collaborate with engineers, the product owner and other product designers.
The Role:
- Understand the problem the product is supposed to solve, the specific use cases for each type of user, and the underlying motivations as well as their pain points.
- Regularly sync design and contribution-level efforts with stakeholders and Principal Design Lead for transparency and alignment with big-picture initiatives.
- Work closely with Product Owners and Principal Design Lead to “define done” for projects, outline project needs / scope and negotiate timing to align with delivery team needs and pipeline backlog.
- Maintain high quality standards and alignment with our design system, principles, and contribute to best practices.
- Work comfortably and confidently in a self-organized team set-up.
- Collaborate with designers to provide support and feedback on team and cross group topics.
- Participate in design critique sessions with other designers to further master the craft of design.
Role Requiremnets:
- Thorough knowledge of user experience methodologies and artifacts (e.g. wireframes, personas, flows) as well as interaction design patterns and techniques.
- Proficient in visual design and delivering ready-to-production design artifacts.
- Proficient analytical skills, structured and data-driven working approach and good interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working within agile software development teams and proven goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to write user stories and a good understanding of iterative & incremental value-driven story writing is a plus.
- Steady stakeholder management skills, including an ability in negotiating and managing expectations on timelines and scope.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely when illustrating topics to an audience.
- Experience in taking responsibility and making decisions.
- Ability to deal with complex topics and stakeholder landscapes.
- Experience in data visualisation would be advantageous.
