In business for over 30 years, PBS is the third largest DMS (Dealership Management System) provider to the North American retail automotive industry. Each month we welcome hundreds of new users to our software platform, and we need your help.

The Role:
The Product Manager for Fixed Operations will be responsible for overseeing the strategic development and growth of our Service and Parts products within our comprehensive Dealership Management System (DMS). This role will focus on identifying industry trends, customer needs, and innovative solutions to drive the evolution of our fixed operations offerings. The ideal candidate will collaborate with stakeholders, manage product roadmaps, and ensure successful implementation and adoption of new features, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of automotive dealerships using our DMS platform
Responsibilities:
- Identify, research, and manage customer and industry needs for new product development
- Define solution-based outcomes along with justifications and priorities for each solution
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to set roadmaps for strategic products and features
- Ensure strategic Product development meets expectations of stakeholders, enhancing product adoption
- Work with customers to better understand and align their needs with the PBS vision
- Be knowledgeable with respect to the industry and our competition
- Run pilot and beta programs to understand product adoption and ensure all product objectives are met
- University degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Industry experience in a Dealership role or other DMS company
- PBS specialized product experience in an onsite and/or customer relationship role
- Product Management experience
- Ability to travel once a quarter in both Canada and USA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional ability to work collaboratively in both a team atmosphere and independently
- Exceptional attention to detail, outstanding prioritization, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and manage stakeholder expectations
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to identify and visualize product roadmaps
- Flexible, fast learner who thrives in a constantly changing work environment
