Production Line Leader

Working with a team to ensure the packing line is prepared and managed to deliver production targets whilst ensuring compliance to quality, EHS according to the quality, health & safety standards required.

Key Responsibilities:

• EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety)
• Ensuring the line is prepared and set up for each production run in a timely manner according to the planned production schedule
• Ensure each packaging line has sufficient available correctly streamed WIP
• Conducting the line checks as required by the BMR (Batch Manufacturing Record)
• Batch paper calculation (yield) and Quality sign off
• Meeting daily output targets to maintain planned production schedule while ensuring compliance to all quality and EHS standards
• Managing resources and breaks to maximise efficiency
• Reconciliation before transfer to Warehouse
• Provide training for the line and ensure training records are up to date at all times
• Be actively involved in the monitoring and resolution of quality issues
• Maintaining cleaning records, report deviations
• Reporting on production status (KPI’s) and any production issues to Senior Management
• Learn and implement Lean/5S methodologies and participate in/lead improvement projects
• Gather relevant information and populate boards for production meetings

Performance Measures:

• Achieve agreed targets
• Ensure the plan is maintained at all times and any changes are communicated to the appropriate personnel
• Minimise cleardowns and changeovers
• Maximise resources in normal hours

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
