Your Impact Matters
As a Program Support Manager, you will:
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Lead Reporting Excellence & Strategic Insight:
- Craft compelling and accurate operational, workforce, and program reports that empower senior leadership decision-making.
- Develop tools and dashboards that transform raw data into actionable insights, improving program performance every step of the way.
Master Meeting Coordination & Accountability:
- Represent Amentum in high-level customer and workforce meetings by facilitating discussions, documenting impactful action items, and ensuring every outcome inspires meaningful change.
- Act as the action-tracking powerhouse—delegating, monitoring, and following up to ensure the timely completion of key deliverables.
Drive Decision-Making & Empower Delegation:
- Use your delegated authority to distribute tasks and initiatives to Area Managers in alignment with strategic program goals.
- Influence and inspire managers to deliver their best while escalating key risks or delays to senior management when necessary.
Shape the Future with Strategic Planning:
- Propel future program success by supporting workforce forecasting, leave management oversight, and streamlining workforce capacities.
- Identify and report trends, risks, and opportunities, ensuring senior leaders have all the insights they need to navigate forward.
Strengthen Corporate Foundations:
- Support critical corporate initiatives such as audits, compliance activities, and continuous improvement programs.
- Bring fresh ideas to administrative processes and organizational efficiencies—you are a solutions thinker to the core!
Foster Relationships & Inspire Collaboration:
- Manage and collaborate with reports including Functional Area Managers (FAMs).
- Work closely with senior executives, corporate services, Area Managers, and other program staff to foster a culture of partnership, accountability, and success.
- Be a reliable, customer-focused point of contact, forging strong internal and external relationships.
Promote Safety, Quality & Excellence:
- Be a safety advocate at all levels by promoting awareness, encouraging discussions, and ensuring a workplace culture focused on care and compliance.
- Drive quality and adherence to environmental and operational standards that uphold Amentum’s commitment to service excellence.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Qualifications You Need:
- 4-year Degree: BS/BA in Business, Engineering, or similar.
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience managing staff, contractors, and client relations.
- Must have a PMP or successfully achieve a PMP certification within 6 months of selection.
- Relevant training in business analytics, compliance, governance, or program management tools is a plus.
Skills That Set You Apart:
- Proven expertise in administrative and organizational skills with an impeccable eye for detail.
- Advanced capabilities in report writing, data analysis, and strategic insights.
- Inspiring communicative abilities—both written and verbal—to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and advanced reporting systems, such as Power BI or similar tools.

To succeed, you will need to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) Clearance (Australian) or TS/SCI Clearance (U.S.) with CI Polygraph.
