What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Project Accountant at IPS, you’ll play a vital role in supporting financial accuracy and efficiency across our projects. Key responsibilities include:

• Accounts Receivable:
• • Managing AR invoice entry (AIA Billing) in Foundation, and Textura
  • Processing customer and vendor waivers
  • AR collections and reporting
• Project Accounting:
• • Handling customer and project setup (Foundation & ProNovos), prelien management
  • Contract and compliance documentation (COIs, tax certificates, licensing)
  • Coordinating project handoff, kickoff, and job reviews.
  • You'll also manage cost transfers, open commitments, and project closeouts.
• General Accounting Support:
• • Processing cash receipts,
  • Assisting with reconciliations, audits, and financial reporting as needed.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, with advanced Excel proficiency
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to analyze financial data and provide insights
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both accounting and non-accounting teams, collaborate with accounting and project teams
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines

What Sets You Apart:

• Experience in construction accounting
• 4+ years as a Project Accountant
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Familiarity with Foundation, Spectrum, ProNovos, and Textura, is a plus

Your Schedule:

• Full-time, in office, regular business hours

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Physical Demands: Primarily a sedentary role, requiring the ability to sit for extended periods, use a computer, and perform repetitive hand movements (typing, data entry). Occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 15 lbs. may be required.
• Work Environment: Office-based with minimal exposure to construction job sites. Work is performed in a professional office setting with standard office equipment (computer, phone, printer). Some travel to job sites or external meetings may be necessary.
