Project Engineer

Job Summary

You will lead project coordination and supervision efforts to ensure timely delivery and budget compliance of electrical engineering projects. Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards and technical specifications, driving successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects to deliver on time and within budgetary constraints
• Enforce strict compliance with engineering codes, industry best practices, QA/QC procedures, performance standards, and technical specifications throughout project execution
• Engage daily with clients to clarify project requirements, resolve issues, and represent their interests during on-site operations
• Oversee project quality control by managing budgeting, scheduling, planning, and team performance, delivering regular progress reports to stakeholders
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and cross-functional teams to achieve delivery milestones and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle
• Review and evaluate engineering deliverables to ensure alignment with project standards and objectives, initiating corrective actions to maintain quality and performance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) to support project documentation and communication
• Familiarity with design and visualization software such as AutoCAD and BIM to assist in project planning and review
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams to meet project goals
• Experience in project supervision and coordination with understanding of project workflows and timelines
• Strong decision-making and leadership skills to guide project teams effectively
• Effective time management and organizational abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $2,700.00 - $3,500.00 per month
