We are seeking an experienced 3 Waters Engineer or Project Manager to join our team in Rotorua . This is an exciting opportunity that will deliver professional water resources engineering and consulting services, leading, and managing projects to provide innovative solutions for clients, ensuring positive impacts on the environment and communities, and contributing to business development and client relationships across Rotorua and the wider Bay of Plenty region. What You?ll Do Lead, support, and manage water-related projects to achieve successful outcomes for clients. Undertake investigations, analysis, and modelling to develop engineering solutions and communicate results. Deliver high-quality technical consulting services, including feasibility studies, asset condition assessments, and practical design solutions. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and use digital tools (e.g., GIS, BIM, Power BI) to enhance project delivery. Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities, building and maintaining trusted client relationships. Prepare and manage project delivery plans, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality. Ensure compliance with technical standards, company quality, and health & safety requirements. Support the ongoing success of WSP through high-quality consultancy, professional development, and upholding company values. What You?ll Bring Relevant tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a related discipline. Ideally, a minimum of 5 years? professional experience in 3 Waters engineering. Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status, or working towards this. Strong technical, analytical, and project management skills, with a client-centric approach. Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills. High attention to detail, strong organisational ability, and the resilience to thrive in a busy, changing environment.
