Job Title: Project & Engineering Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE

The Project & Engineering Coordinator has to oversee and manage, planning and execution of assigned engineering projects and working alongside other engineers in the planning, design, development, and evaluation of projects.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Foster a safety culture in all P&E project execution and ensure 100% compliance safety requirement, including contractors and visitors.
  • Assist for creating detailed project plan, timeline and schedule to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Assist Project Engineer to develop new project scope of work.
  • Work with compounding and Polymer plant engineers to generate new projects
  • Coordinate project execution - Coordinate internal resources, 3rd party vendors/ contractors during projects installation to ensure flawless execution of the project.
  • All the engineering activities to execute in compliance with company guidelines i.e. mechanical integrity, SABIC Engineering Standards & EHSS requirements.
  • Create the instructions necessary for systems to function. This includes manufacturing maintenance procedures, trainings and system handover to operation.
  • Quality Control - Project Coordinate ensure that all work meets the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Verify and audit the project quality documents with vendor to align engineering standard.
  • Documentation - Maintain Engineering deliverables (drawings and documents),Producing CAD drawings according to specifications and changes.
  • Reporting - Provide regular progress report to the stakeholders.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum NITEC/ Technical certificate/ Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Preferably with min. 3-5 years’ relevant work experience in chemical industry.
  • Knowledge about project management.
  • Projects planning & coordination skills.
  • Good knowledge about auto CAD and practical experience using CAD software may be required.
  • Good knowledge about Design and analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge about pneumatic and hydraulic system.
  • Good knowledge of office software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and to collaborate with others.
  • EHSS knowledge and understanding for Project execution.
  • Knowledgeable in Maintenance Theory & Principles; Work processes - Project scheduling and execution
