Internship Program
Mastercard’s summer internship program provides emerging talent with projects that will enhance skills as well as contribute to the department’s goals and objectives. In this program, you will participate in:

  • Networking events, mentorship opportunities, and hear from senior leaders
  • Volunteer and team building opportunities
  • Formal performance assessments
  • End-of-summer presentations to peers and Mastercard leadership


Role Description
As a Project Management Intern, you will:

  • Build dashboards to facilitate on-demand communication and reporting.
  • Improve data quality and automate metric generation.
  • Participate in solutioning efforts to advance strategic engagements.
  • Responsibilities will vary per team

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program with a graduation date of December 2024 or beyond
- Thrive in a fast- paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Ability to translate technical information into business concepts and back.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate in a geographically distributed environment.
  • Must feel comfortable asking questions, challenging the status quo, and take initiative to advance projects
  • Ability to effectively communicate technology to businesspeople and business to technology people.
  • Organized, with an ability function in environments where the agenda is not clear, and the obvious solutions are not always best suited from a strategic point of view.
  • High-energy, can-do attitude, very strong sense of ownership and desire to succeed with commensurate analytical, technical, and strategic skills.
  • Understanding of software methodologies, principles, theories, and concepts.
