Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Psychologist. - Boca Raton, FL.
Summary of responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessment and determination of treatment needs.
  • Conducting individual, couples, and group psychotherapy with students
  • Conducting crisis interventions as needed.
  • Clinical consultation; providing outreach services to the university community.
  • Developing liaison relationships across the University; and supervising masters and doctoral trainees and post-doctoral residents.
  • Serves as essential personnel and provides assistance in the event of an emergency.

Minimum Qualifications:
A doctorate in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited institution and one year of appropriate experience required.

Must be licensed as a psychologist by the State of Florida in accordance with FS Chapter 490 within 6 months of their start date.

Must meet all requirements as established by the American Psychological Association, which includes a doctoral degree and an APA Accredited Internship.

Must have strong program development and evaluation skills.

Strong communication skills are required.

Must have organizational leadership.

Critical thinking skills are required.
Salary:
$84,000- $101,295 per year.
