Vera Mental Health Clinic is expanding its clinical team and is currently seeking qualified Psychologists to work with us on a referral basis.
This role is ideal for psychologists who wish to practise within a high-standard, ethical, and clinically governed environment, while maintaining professional autonomy and flexibility.

Role Overview
This is not a full-time employment position.
Successful candidates will join Vera Mental Health Clinic as associate clinicians, offering psychological therapy on a session-by-session basis.
Clinicians manage their agreed availability and are paid per completed session.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based psychological therapy to adult clients
- Conduct assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical records
- Adhere to ethical, legal, and clinical governance standards
- Engage in supervision and appropriate clinical consultation
- Work collaboratively within Vera Mental Health Clinic’s clinical framework
- Uphold the values, professionalism, and reputation of Vera Mental Health
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (minimum 4 years)
- Master’s degree in a relevant psychology field (e.g. Clinical, Counselling, Health, Developmental Psychology)
- Ongoing or completed clinical supervision
- PSI registration
- At least 3 years of post-postgraduate clinical experience
- Right to work in Ireland (including self-employed/contractor status)
- Strong understanding of ethical practice and professional boundaries
- Commitment to evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently within a structured clinical system
Desirable
- Experience working with adult clients
- Training in CBT, DBT, Schema Therapy, Mindfulness-based approaches, or other evidence-based models
- Additional training or interest in ADHD, neurodevelopmental conditions, or complex presentations
