Purchasing Officer

Join the Operations team as a Purchasing Officer. This is a critical role within our eCommerce sub-department, designed for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on autonomy and strategic decision-making. Based in our Antipolo office, you will serve as a vital link between our vendors, sales teams, and accounting department to ensure seamless supply chain execution.

The Role and Responsibilities

As a Purchasing Officer, you will manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to vendor reconciliation. Your core duties include:

  • Strategic Procurement: Create purchase orders through the Buyer’s Control Center (RARR), Sales Orders, and Purchase Order Entry (POET).
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze previous usage, package quantities, and pricing to make educated purchasing decisions that optimize inventory.
  • Vendor Management: Review vendor confirmations for accuracy, update purchase orders, and proactively resolve any discrepancies in pricing or quantity.
  • Maintenance of Records: Update and manage detailed vendor notes, including contact information, minimum order requirements, and specific freight preferences (e.g., FedEx vs. UPS).
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with the Accounting Department to resolve invoicing issues related to generated purchase orders.
  • Returns Management: Handle Return Purchase Orders (RPO) by coordinating with vendors to secure Return Goods Authorizations (RGA) for product returns.

Candidate Qualifications

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can master complex systems and work independently during the night shift.

Technical and Soft Skills:

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data to make sound purchasing choices.
  • Problem Solving: A strong aptitude for identifying issues and teaching yourself new processes as the business evolves.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous in updating vendor requirements and checking confirmations to ensure "not a beat is missed."
  • Communication: Clear verbal and written skills for vendor negotiations and internal coordination.
  • Commitment: Ability to work a fixed night shift schedule and observe Client-based holidays.

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
