Qualified & Apprentice Pipe Fitters / Industrial Plumbers

JF Mechanical are seeking Qualified & Apprentice Pipefitters/Plumbers to join our growing team for our current and new projects in Ireland, primarily in the West Dublin/Mayo/Sligo regions.

In the apprentice positions you will gain knowledge in the layout, assembly, installation, and maintenance of piping systems on our various projects. The position includes working as part of a team on a variety of piping systems including copper, carbon and stainless steel, for those such as steam, condensate, hot water, heating, cooling, and industrial production and processing systems. An understanding of the ability to read isometric drawings and P&ID's will be gained. Apprentice rates of pay will be per the candidates applicable year.

The positions available are for 1st, 2nd & 3rd year apprentices. You should be able to demonstrate good work practices including time keeping, tidiness, responsibility, quality awareness and safety awareness. A willingness to learn and listen to advice and instructions is of utmost importance.

Qualified Fitters/Plumbers should be able to demonstrate their trade qualification along with relevant previous work experience. Rates of pay will be discussed at interview.

All candidates should be effective communicators, have excellent attention to detail and be able to prioritise tasks efficiently and be equally adept at working independently or as part of a team.

Up to date Safe Pass and Manual Handling is required as a minimum while Mewp/Abrasive Wheels and Working at Heights is also desirable.
