Noreside Engineering Group, a trusted name in precision engineering and metal fabrication in the South East, is currently seeking a Qualified Fabricator to join our skilled team in Kilkenny.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and installation of high-quality stainless steel structures and conveyors. This is a hands-on role in a busy workshop environment, working on a wide range of custom engineering and fabrication projects for clients across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble stainless steel, and aluminium components.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and specifications.
• Operate cutting, folding, and welding equipment safely and efficiently.
• Carry out TIG/MIG welding to a high standard.
• Ensure quality control, accuracy, and attention to detail in all fabrication work.
• Work collaboratively with the workshop and site teams to deliver projects on schedule.

Requirements

• Recognised qualification as a Fabricator / Metal Fabricator.
• Proven fabrication and welding experience in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent teamwork skills, reliability, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
