Quality Assurance Officer-Commissary

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field
• Experience in food production, manufacturing, or QA/QC role.
• Auditing and inspection.
• Monitoring compliance with food safety standards.
• A thorough understanding of food safety regulations, such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Food Safety Management System
• Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and identify areas for improvement
• Strong attention to detail is necessary for conducting thorough inspections, audits, and documentation reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards
• The ability to assess and mitigate risks associated with food safety and quality throughout the production process
• Checking that raw materials or components involved in the production process are of suitable quality
• Inspecting production machinery and employees to make sure the production process runs smoothly
• Meeting production deadlines
• Investigating causes of defects that occur during the testing phase
• Assessing whether employees need the training to prevent mistakes during production
• Suggesting improvements to company infrastructure and processes to prevent future mistakes during production
• Develop inspection and testing protocols for materials, products and packaging.
• Develop methods for the testing quality of materials, products and packaging.
• Develop product and process quality metric reports.
• Develop sampling plans for quality control purposes.
• Analyze possible reasons for product defects and quality lapses.
• Analyze possible reasons into process deviations and for product defects and quality lapses.

The salary for this position is open to negotiation, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience
