Quantity Surveyor

Manages project costs, preparing budgets, estimating material and labor costs, and negotiating contracts for construction projects.

Key responsibilities include analyzing project plans, tracking changes to budgets, evaluating contractor bids, processing payments, and ensuring projects stay on time and within budget while meeting quality and legal standards. They act as a financial advisor throughout the project lifecycle, from design to completion, liaising with clients, engineers, and contractors

Skills Required

  • Strong analytical and financial skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in cost management and quantity surveying software.
  • Knowledge of construction plans, materials, and processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Preparing detailed cost estimates, budgets, and material cost analyses for construction projects.
  • Contract Management: Drafting and managing contracts, evaluating subcontractor quotes, and negotiating with suppliers and contractors.
  • Cost Control: Tracking project costs, assessing the financial impact of design or scope changes, and adjusting budgets accordingly.
  • Procurement: Assisting with the tendering process, soliciting bids, and selecting and managing suppliers and contractors.
  • Financial Administration: Processing payments to contractors and suppliers, preparing invoices, and managing financial reporting.
  • Liaison and Communication: Serving as a point of contact between clients, site managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project goals are met.
  • Risk Assessment: Identifying and advising on potential financial and construction risks.
  • Project Monitoring: Conducting site visits to review progress, ensure work meets specifications, and provide updates to clients.
  • Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring projects and contracts comply with legal and regulatory standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
