Day to Day
As a founding Recruiter for Project Cirrus - a new, next-generation candidate screening service for XL Enterprises powered by automation and AI, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional experiences for candidates of large enterprise employers. You will focus on delivering well-qualified candidates to enterprise clients across a myriad of role types via automation and AI-based screening products and processes. You will leverage your expertise as a recruiter to measure and provide feedback on the effectiveness of these solutions and work closely with internal product teams and your direct manager to support the continued iteration and maturation of these solutions. You will have qualitative and quantitative goaling assigned to your work that will align closely with the continued development of the Cirrus product, positive job seeker outcomes, and client success.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate & Select Candidates: Efficiently and accurately screen, assess, and engage with candidates for a variety of roles, ensuring alignment with client needs and providing a positive candidate experience.
- Achieve Performance Targets: Meet or exceed KPIs and SLAs related to productivity, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Drive Process & Product Improvement: Provide constructive feedback on automated/AI-powered tools and leverage recruiting expertise to contribute to the development and improvement of these products.
- Collaborate with R&D: Partner with the R&D team to test, assess, and provide recommendations on the accuracy and effectiveness of automated screening approaches, demonstrating agility and adaptability in a test-iterate-test model.
- Support Client Success: Collaborate effectively with Client Partners and Hiring Managers to understand their needs and ensure successful candidate placements across multiple engagements.
- Embrace Innovation: Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative, AI-driven recruiting solutions.
- Commit to Continuous Learning: Stay informed about the latest recruiting trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills/Competencies
- Experienced Recruiter: 3+ years of experience in enterprise recruiting or talent acquisition within a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with a demonstrated track record of achieving goals, delivering client outcomes, and providing excellent candidate experiences.
- AI & Automation Advocate: Passionate about leveraging AI and automation in candidate selection, understanding its implications and potential.
- Effective Communicator: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to inform and influence both internal and external audiences.
- Client-Focused: Proven ability to translate client requirements into process and product configurations that drive positive outcomes for both clients and candidates.
- Agile & Adaptable: Ability to support agile product iteration, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in the face of evolving requirements and continuous improvement.
- Collaborative Partner: Excellent collaboration skills, building exceptional relationships and aligning priorities across multiple internal and external teams.
- Data-Driven & Inclusive: Data-driven mindset, utilizing data to inform judgments and reporting, with a commitment to fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

Salary Range Transparency
Toronto: C$77,000 - C$113,000/Year
Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees.
