Signal of Seattle, a leading private security firm based in Seattle, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Recruiting Intern. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the field of recruitment and play a crucial role in candidate screening and sourcing. This is a paid internship opportunity that offers valuable insights into the security industry and the recruitment process.
Responsibilities:
Candidate Screening: Assist in reviewing resumes, conducting initial phone screenings, and assessing candidates' qualifications and suitability for various security positions within our organization.
Candidate Sourcing: Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks, to identify and attract potential candidates for open positions.
Job Postings: Collaborate with the recruitment team to create compelling job postings that effectively communicate the requirements and benefits of working at Signal of Seattle.
Interview Support: Coordinate and schedule interviews, provide logistical support to candidates, and assist in organizing interview feedback and documentation.
Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information using our ATS, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
Recruitment Events: Assist in the coordination of recruitment events, such as job fairs and career expos, to attract high-quality candidates and promote the Signal of Seattle brand.
Administrative Tasks: Support the recruitment team with various administrative tasks, such as organizing files, preparing reports, and conducting background checks.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or recent graduate).
- Strong interest in recruitment and talent acquisition.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable working with applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Strong teamwork skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and contributing to the team's success.
