Minara Resources is Australia’s largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. The Role

We are currently seeking a Recruitment Advisor for a 6 month fixed term contract to join us on site here at Murrin Murrin Operations. This role is FIFO role from Perth on a 4 days on / 3 days off roster. The person is going to be able to hit the ground running to take on our recruitment campaigns as their own. You will work alongside our Recruitment team and perform end-to-end recruitment activities including advertising, shortlisting, phone screens, booking and attending interviews, pre-employment candidate management, on-boarding and reference checking. As part of our small team, this role will suit an organised person who can prioritise their time and workload, whilst providing professional customer service to our internal stakeholders.

You will be responsible for:


  • Managing the end to end recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, applicant screening, candidate interviewing and assessing, due diligence and verbal offer within a competency-based assessment and selection framework
  • Monitoring the recruitment processes, tools to ensure best practice, legal compliance, consistent application, diversity and inclusion focus and for improvement opportunities.
  • Monitoring the external labour market and MMO business needs to identify trends, emerging issues and improvement opportunities.

About You

This role would suit someone with a diverse skill set and the ability to prioritise effectively and multi-task in what can be a challenging role from day to day. To contribute effectively to our HR Team, you will possess the following skills and experience:


  • Previous experience in end-to-end recruitment within the resource industry (In house experience preferred)
  • Excellent administration skills including good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Have a proven track record to deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • Ensure recruitment process/procedural compliance
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously and in a team.
