We are seeking an experienced and organized Recruitment and Onboarding Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in attracting top talent, facilitating smooth onboarding processes, and supporting workforce growth. This position involves managing end-to-end recruitment activities, coordinating onboarding, and ensuring compliance with employment standards and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from drafting job advertisements to onboarding new hires.
- Advertise job openings across relevant platforms to attract high-quality candidates.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate suitability.
- Coordinate and participate in interviews with hiring managers.
- Negotiate job offers, salaries, and employment terms with selected candidates.
- Maintain a talent pipeline to meet current and future staffing needs.
2. Onboarding Coordination:
- Plan and execute onboarding activities to ensure a seamless transition for new employees.
- Conduct employee inductions and ensure new hires understand company policies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between new employees and departments to facilitate their integration into the team.
- Monitor and improve onboarding processes to enhance the employee experience.
3. Documentation and Compliance:
- Develop, review, and maintain job descriptions for all roles within the organization.
- Prepare and manage employment contracts and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and NDIS standards.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of recruitment and onboarding activities.
4. Employer Branding and Engagement:
- Promote the organization’s values and culture to attract and retain top talent.
- Participate in career fairs, networking events, and other recruitment activities to increase visibility.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Overtime
- Public holidays
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
