To provide direction to material handlers to ensure timely processing and reuse of recycling merchandise in a timely manner to include computer goods, e-waste, cardboard and various recyclable materials as determined.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trains, coaches, and gives direction to workforce of material handlers in recycling procedures, ensuring safety and providing feedback regarding job duties. Acts as a resource to resolve job related issues and disciplinary actions as appropriate to ensure positive results. Works with Recycling Program Manager as required to provide best outcomes and to resolve issues related to area of responsibility. Performs a variety of activities that include, but are not limited to, loading and unloading, sorting, inspecting, packaging and delivering products to staging areas for shipment using a forklift. Moves pallets of computer components or other electronic product to staging area using a forklift. Organizes warehouse to acceptable standards. Maintains flexibility related to scheduling shifts. Works overtime as required. Drives on company business as required. Performs other job related duties as required.
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience. (If applicant has no diploma or GED, a plan to pursue a GED must be established within the 1st six months in the position). Two years similar/relevant work experience in recycling and supervision preferred. Forklift certification required. Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record. Communicate effectively. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to stand up to 7 hours per day.
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM
