What you will do
This individual is responsible to implement, monitor, measure, analyze and improve inventory / SLOB OKR. The APAC Inventory Lead will own the inventory & SLOB performance management process and governance model for the Asia Pacific End-to-end (E2E) Supply Chain operations.This role will be responsible for ideating , scientific target setting leveraging external & internal benchmarking , monthly reporting & analysis, future projection, and proactive decisions / actions with AKOLT ( Regional Operations Leadership team) via governance process.
- Owns the execution of APAC inventory performance management process and governance
- Plan and implement a comprehensive inventory management strategy across all nodes of supply chain aligned with the business strategy, goals, and objectives
- Benchmark regionally and globally on the best practices to address any inventory improvement opportunities and deploys best practices to drive performance improvement or bridge any performance gaps.
- Leads the target setting of inventory performance metrics using data & analytics and in partnership with F&A, Cluster, Franchise and Supply chain functions. Work with various stakeholders to promote high performance and feedback culture.
- Drive implementation & deployment of advanced analytical tools and process improvement process from global GVC team
- Lead and ensure the implementation of inventory policies, standards, technologies, and procedures
- Lead the quarterly process of Inventory component calculation (Base + Events) to achieve the most optimal balance of service, inventory and cost within the current network and demonstrated performance
- Accountable for setting targets at the Country/Market level and streamlining monthly/quarterly inventory projections.
- Responsible for achieving GI/DOS, NI/DIO and Inventory Health Target.
- Ensures inventory plans meet both customer service and inventory targets (IBP and Financial Plan)
- Projects SLOB and minimizes SLOB expense by analyzing drivers and seeking structural improvement opportunities.
- Leads process of analyzing Inventory Drivers in actuals and projections to provide input and insights into financial reporting and Planning process.
- Leads development of the Inventory Optimization Program that improves business outcomes through cost reduction, cost avoidance, and process improvements on a cross functional level and aligned with the planning and financial cycle.
- Ensures Inventory Management is part of IBP process, including providing inventory projections and transparency of risks and opportunities. Participates in Reconciliation and Executive IBP forums.
- Lead AIM ( Advance Inventory Management tool ) and other Key tool deployment
