Regional Supply Chain Intern

The intern will be supporting Shoes and Ready-to-wear Supply Chain Team in 3 main areas – Omni Channel Performance, Inventory Optimization for Sell-through Improvement and Forecasting.

Client Orders Management and Omni Channel Performance

• Assist in the improvement of our response time and timely fulfilment of client orders.
• Provide regular updates on pending client orders with regards to a visibility on when the product would be available.
• Gathering of relevant data for regular review and occasional deep diving to understand the causes of service failures.
• Participate in the conception of relevant tools and dashboards that would be beneficial to the team in monitoring the Omni Channel performance; and to reflect on the existing process and propose improvements on how to render this domain more efficient.

Performance Monitoring: Sell Through Improvement

• Support in building efficient and regular program to optimize the sell-through of our seasonal products.
• Assist to explore current tools and develop new tools to propose sound rebalance actions that will optimize review with the Merchandising team.
• Review the results of rebalancing exercise with relevant data to compare vs. key performance indicators and business needs.

Operations: Inventory Management, Reverse logistic & Follow up

• Help in managing reverse logistic distribution to Central or other zones to minimize holding stock.
• Conduct stock clean up and assisting the Distribution planners in managing transfer back from our network stores, including to develop a dynamic system to follow up on return efficiency of the markets and challenge them on their completion.

Forecasting

• Supporting Distribution planners in the monthly adjustment of forecast for permanents and seasonals products.

Profil

Key Qualifications

• Analytical with experience in operational processes.
• Organized, Meticulous and Data oriented.
• Ability to work independently, taking initiative and being accountable with minimum supervision.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge. Power BI knowledge, Programming skills (VBA, SQL), SAP experience will be an advantage.
• Efficient Presentation skills. Ability to present meaning of data in an analytically manner.
