About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Registered Nurse and join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at Medical Unit in Rotorua Hospital. Our Ward is a 41-bed ward that meets the needs of patients presenting with a full range of acute medical conditions.

Capability development is a high priority for us - there is many opportunities for professional development. Further, learning opportunities present themselves on the ward every day, and proactive and engaged learners wanting to take full advantage of the opportunities in the environment will have plenty of chances to enhance their range of skills. Our team is dedicated, professional and on hand to provide you with mentorship and support.

About the Team/Service/ Location

About you

  • Enthusiastic and motivated
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Work well in a multidisciplinary team setting
  • Strong team player
  • Demonstrate good clinical decision making skills
  • Able to do fully rostered shifts.
  • Recent experience in acute medical setting would be an advantage.
