Ambulatory Care Primarily Orthopaedic Clinic

Location: Palmerston North Hospital, Temporary Full time

About the Role

This role is primarily in the Orthopaedic Clinic however the successful applicant will work across the ambulatory care service as required. The successful applicant will report directly to the Charge Nurse Ambulatory Care and will work in close collaboration with and often guided by the CNS.

Hours of work are 40 hours a week working Monday to Friday, day shifts as rostered. This is a temporary role to cover parental leave.

This position is varied and involve ongoing professional development opportunities. The successful applicant will work within a supportive team environment that includes working alongside a variety of different multi-disciplinary teams.

About you

We are looking for applications from experienced registered nurses or enrolled nurses who:

  • Are active and enthusiastic team players
  • Can demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Are committed to the provision of quality nursing care in the department.
  • Are motivated and adaptable to change.
  • Have Level 3 PDRP or be able to demonstrable equivalent.
  • Have a current practising certificate is required.

A knowledge of wound products and the Orthopaedic Specialty would be advantageous however full training will be offered
