Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain all AV systems across multiple IDMC Australia locations.
- Ensure high-quality execution of live services, recordings, and live streaming.
- Set up, operate, and pack down audio, video, lighting, and streaming systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve AV technical issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with creative teams to achieve production goals.
- Manage and train volunteer production teams, ensuring effective rostering and leadership development.
- Maintain AV equipment inventory and recommend system improvements.
- Comply with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications, Experience & Competencies:Required:
- Certificate IV in Project Management Practice.
- Advanced Diploma in Ministry, ideally specializing in Production Management, Live Audio, and Studio Audio Recording.
- Dante Level 3 Certified.
- Experience in church production, live event production, and studio/broadcast environments.
- Strong technical knowledge of audio, video, lighting, and streaming systems.
- Self-driven and self-managed with strong initiative.
- Hands-on experience with mixing consoles, video switchers, cameras, and live streaming platforms.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to perform under pressure.
- Ability to train and lead volunteer production teams.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with ProTools, ProPresenter, Ableton, and Multitracks Playback.
Preferred:
- Experience in AV system integration and installations.
- Knowledge of network and IT systems related to AV setups.
- Understanding of room acoustics and sound treatment.
Required & Preferred Licences:Required:
- Open Driver’s Licence.
- Industry-related Certifications (e.g., Dante, CTS, SMPTE).
- Working With Children Check (WWCC).
- NSW White Card (When required for site access).
Preferred:
- First Aid & CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Work Conditions & Expectations:
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Travel between campus locations as required.
- Ability to lift and move AV equipment safely.
