• Time Range: Between 7 AM – 7 PM CST
• Working Hours: 9 hours per day (8 working hours + 1-hour break)
• Days Off: TBD (2 days per week)

Position Overview

We are looking for an Architectural Drafter specializing in commercial and mixed-use building design to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of architectural drafting experience, with a strong background in creating detailed drawings and construction documents for permit approval. This role requires advanced proficiency in Revit, BIM coordination expertise, and specialized experience in commercial buildings and mixed-use developments with clash coordination capabilities. The candidate must be familiar with U.S. codes and standards and have the ability to work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and project managers.

The right candidate is meticulous, deadline-oriented, and capable of producing accurate documentation that meets the highest technical and aesthetic standards while managing complex multi-disciplinary coordination in commercial and mixed-use construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed architectural drawings and construction documents for permitting and construction, with a focus on commercial and mixed-use building projects
• Translate design concepts into precise technical drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
• Coordinate BIM models and perform clash detection and resolution for commercial and mixed-use building systems
• Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. building codes, standards, and regulations specific to commercial and mixed-use construction
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MPE teams to ensure design accuracy and alignment in complex commercial and mixed-use projects
• Review and update redline drawings and ensure revisions are properly implemented across all disciplines
• Assist in design development, visualization, and documentation for client presentations
• Collaborate with senior architects and project managers to deliver timely, high-quality outputs
• Maintain organized drawing sets and document control in accordance with company standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field (required)
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in architectural drafting or documentation
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM coordination (required)
• Specialized experience in commercial building design and mixed-use developments with clash coordination (required)
• Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software (preferred)
• Familiarity with U.S. building codes and standards (required)
• Knowledge of MPE systems (Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical) is a plus
• Experience working with U.S.-based clients and projects (required)
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal

Must-Haves

• 8+ years of professional experience in architectural drafting or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Revit and proven BIM coordination experience (test or sample work may be required)
• Demonstrated experience in commercial building design and mixed-use developments with clash coordination
• Experience working with U.S. clients or familiarity with American project documentation
• Understanding of U.S. building codes and construction standards
• Ability to produce precise, well-organized, and code-compliant documentation
• Strong collaboration skills and attention to detail
• Reliable internet connection and the ability to work independently in a remote environment
