Research Assistant

OmboriGrid is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team.

This position is a temporary position with the potential to transition into full-time employment.

What does OmboriGrid do?

We are creating the market leading Store Digitalization Platform to power the best in-store shopping experiences for customers and empower employees.

We bridge a wide range of IoT devices, AI and machine learning powered cognitive services with touch screens and mobile phones to create solutions that are memorable, easy to use, and delight our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research, organize and structure information, and present findings clearly.
• Gather information but also critically analyze it and extract meaningful insights.
• Assist in managing and coordinating project, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.
• Create and maintain documents, spreadsheets, and presentations using Google Sheets (preferred) or Excel.
• Prepare and format presentation materials as needed.
• Take detailed notes during meetings and assist in tracking project progress.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining project documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong research skills with the ability to synthesize data, and build coherent narratives from their findings.
• Ability to create presentation materials (PowerPoint, Google Slides, etc.).
• Excellent written and spoken English skills.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets (preferred) or Microsoft Excel at a medium to advanced level.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to structure information effectively.
• Basic coding skills in Python are a plus, but not required.
