Reservations Agent

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Reservations Agent to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional service and driving revenue performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring all enquiries are handled promptly and professionally.
• Monitor room inventory, availability, and rate strategies in line with revenue management guidelines.
• Ensure accurate input and management of reservations within the property management system.
• Support the Revenue and Sales teams in optimising occupancy and maximising revenue opportunities.
• Handle escalated guest queries, amendments, and special requests with professionalism and attention to detail.
• Provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to team members to maintain high performance standards.
• Maintain strong communication with Front Office, Sales, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, company policies, and data protection regulations.

About You

• Previous experience in a reservations or front office supervisory role within a hotel environment.
• Strong working knowledge of property management systems (Opera experience preferred).
• Solid understanding of revenue management principles and rate strategy.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.

Desirable

• Experience within an international or branded hotel environment.
• Familiarity with Marriott systems and procedures.
• Experience in forecasting and reporting.
