Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and growth-oriented Residential Coach to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will mentor and support neurodiverse young adults as they navigate the challenges of daily living, social engagement, and personal development. You’ll be part of a collaborative team focused on empowering residents through respectful communication, consistency, and a strengths-based approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day coaching in life skills such as cooking, cleaning, time management, and personal care
• Support clients in setting and achieving individual goals
• Model and reinforce appropriate interpersonal and communication skills
• Supervise communal spaces and ensure a safe, respectful living environment
• Collaborate with clinical and program staff to monitor resident progress
• Document observations and complete shift notes
• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience or college coursework preferred
• Experience working with neurodiverse individuals (autism, ADHD, etc.) strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Patience, emotional intelligence, and adaptability
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries while building rapport
• Must pass background check and have reliable transportation

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
