RESTAURANT FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

We own and operate 26 restaurant and retail locations inside the DFW and Dallas Love Field Airports. Our Facility department needs additional technicians to service our stores.

We are only interviewing local candidates at this time.

We are seeking a restaurant maintenance / facility technician that has experience and/or certified in refrigeration repair and maintenance as well as hot equipment.

Maintenance Technician duties and responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. A Maintenance Technician will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility. Some other tasks a Maintenance Technician may be called upon to do include:

• Performing routine maintenance in our locations such as fixing structural damage, for example, window, door or wall repair
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
• Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
• Maintaining the building HVAC equipment in order to keep climate control in the facility functioning properly
• Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as using a sealant on a flat roof
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• Light Painting if needed
• Moving equipment from one location to another
• Moving stock from one location to another

PHYSICAL AND HOUR REQUIREMENTS

This position required lifting up to 30-50 pounds

This position requires a minimum of 40-45 hours per week with the expectation that more hours may be required to reach all goals, responsibilities, and to meet the needs of the business

This position requires a 100% attendance expectation with the exception of approved time off requests

Ability to be productive all hours of the shift and work in a fast paced sometimes stressful environment

Ability to stand in one place for several hours

Ability to walk, stand, reach above the shoulders and bend all hours of the shift

Ability to ambulate through the entire square footage of store and/or Airport Assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
