Restaurant Front of House Manager

Ming Dining is seeking an experienced Front of House Manager to lead our restaurant service team in Melbourne CBD.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage daily front-of-house operations
  • Lead and train wait staff
  • Maintain high service standards
  • Handle reservations, guest enquiries and complaints
  • Coordinate private dining and group bookings
  • Work closely with the kitchen team during service
  • Manage opening and closing procedures
  • Support sales, customer experience and team performance

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years restaurant management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work nights and weekends
  • Experience in premium dining, Chinese restaurant or event service is preferred

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience managing private dining rooms and corporate events.
  • Experience handling group bookings and functions of 20–100 guests.
  • Ability to achieve service, sales and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Experience with reservations, event coordination and guest relations.
  • Experience in premium dining or high-volume hospitality venues is highly regarded.

Pay: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
