We’re looking for two Restaurant Managers to oversee the daily operations of our café/restaurant.

Please note: you will be required to work in multiple locations, including our restaurants in Nelson and Richmond, Tasman.

We’re looking for two Restaurant Managers to oversee the daily
operations of our café/restaurant.

Please note: you will be required to work in multiple locations
including our restaurants in Nelson and Richmond, Tasman.

Requirements:

a diploma in the related field or a bachelor’s degree or 2–3 years of relevant work experience

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily front- and back-of-house restaurant operations
Hire, onboard, and train new staff
Organise staff schedules
Coordinate with vendors and manage supply orders
Control operational costs and identify ways to reduce waste
Maintain accurate stock records and update sales and expense reports
Collaborate with the chef to plan and adjust menu items based on seasonality and customer preferences
Guide staff on delivering excellent customer service and resolving customer issues
Plan and organise special events for customers when needed
Ensure compliance with safety and food quality standards

Employment Details:

Guaranteed a minimum of 30 hours per week, up to a maximum of 45 hours. Permanent position
Hourly remuneration ranges from $28 to $34, based on experience.
