Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with shipping, packaging, and business service needs
• Provide guidance on shipping options, pricing, delivery times, and carrier services (UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL)
• Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure each customer has a smooth and positive experience
• Answer phone inquiries professionally and assist customers with shipment questions or service requests

Shipping & Packing

• Process customer shipments accurately using shipping systems and carrier platforms
• Pack items securely for shipment, including fragile, valuable, or irregularly shaped items
• Provide recommendations on the best packaging and shipping solutions for customers
• Ensure shipments are labeled correctly and meet carrier requirements

Retail Operations

• Operate the Point-of-Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions confidently and responsibly
• Promote and upsell additional services such as packing materials, insurance, mailbox rentals, and printing services
• Maintain organized retail displays and ensure shelves are stocked with shipping and packaging supplies

Store Support

• Assist with mailbox customer services, including package intake and notifications
• Support daily store operations including inventory checks, stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean workspace
• Help train new team members and assist supervisors with store operations when needed

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred (shipping or logistics experience is a plus but not required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional attitude
• Ability to learn shipping systems and understand basic shipping logistics
• Comfortable handling packages and performing packing tasks
• Basic computer skills and experience using POS systems
• Strong attention to detail to ensure shipments are processed accurately
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Bilingual skills are a plus but not required
