We are seeking a Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that we meet sales targets, maintain efficient operations, and develop a high-performing team. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in supporting our mission by driving revenue, fostering an exceptional customer experience, and leading a motivated, cohesive team. You’ll work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to manage not only the retail store but also online fulfillment and inventory movement, ensuring smooth collaboration across all departments.

What You’ll Do

As the Retail Manager, you will:

• Provide leadership and support to our Store Associates, cultivating a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
• Ensure the retail store runs smoothly on a daily basis, creating an exceptional customer experience that aligns with our values and goals.
• Analyze sales performance, identify trends, and develop strategies to meet and exceed targets.
• Ensure efficient inventory movement, stock levels, and adherence to merchandising standards. You’ll also implement loss prevention initiatives.
• Plan, schedule, and execute multiple large-scale sales events and membership drives throughout the year.
• Act as a liaison between departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment of operational goals.
• Oversee the maintenance, safety, and compliance of the retail property to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for both staff and customers.
• Continuously identify and implement operational improvements that reduce costs and increase efficiency.
• Assist with preparing operational reports, highlighting key metrics, challenges, and successes.

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 5 years of retail management experience, with a track record of meeting sales goals and driving operational success.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team to reach their full potential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage with customers and team members at all levels.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve sales and operations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to balance multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in retail and warehouse management software. Familiarity with facilities management and IT systems is a plus.
• Spanish or other language skills are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in or with nonprofit organizations is a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings or weekends, depending on operational needs.
