Revenue Administration Officer

The Role / Person

The Finance Team has a fantastic opportunity for you to join the team behind the delivery of our effective and efficient rating service!

As the Revenue Administration Officer you will work in a small team responsible for developing and maintaining Council’s rating operations, whilst providing amazing service everyday.

You will have strong interpersonal skills and be a first-class written and oral communicator when dealing with internal and external customers. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy of work, as well as the ability to plan and prioritise to meet deadlines, are a must.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Demonstrated rating or financial administration experience
  • Ability to process and accurately maintain data and financial transactions
  • Willingness to provide assistance and back-up support to the Accounts Receivable function
  • MS Office skills and computer literacy - preferable use of Authority

Rates & Revenue can be complex and previous exposure to Council rating systems is preferable but not essential - if you have a range of transferable skills and experience we want to hear from you!
