Risk Management Consultant:
Your role
For one of our Client, we are looking for a Risk Management Consultant to strengthen its Risk & Compliance function.
The selected candidate will contribute to both operational risk activities and strategic governance initiatives, supporting risk monitoring, data analysis, and executive-level reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting risk monitoring and risk assessment activities across multiple risk domains
Contributing to the management and analysis of key risk areas, including Credit Risk, Financial Risk, Interest Rate Risk, and Liquidity Risk
Supporting the execution and enhancement of risk control frameworks
Performing data analysis and consolidating information from various entities
Contributing to the preparation of periodic and ad hoc risk reports
Supporting the definition and improvement of Risk Management and Compliance frameworks
Preparing executive summaries and Board-level presentations
Contributing to reporting activities for governance bodies and committees
Supporting the design and standardization of risk assessment methodologies, reporting models, and governance processes
Potential involvement in ICT Risk Management topics, including integration of IT risk into existing frameworks
Requirements
5–8+ years of experience in Risk Management or Risk & Compliance within banking or financial services
Strong knowledge of key risk domains, particularly Credit Risk and Financial Risk
Proven experience in executive and Board-level reporting
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Experience in defining and implementing risk management frameworks
Fluent in Italian and English
Nice to have:
Experience with Interest Rate Risk and Liquidity Risk
Exposure to ICT Risk Management
Experience working with holding structures or complex banking groups
Familiarity with regulatory environments (e.g., ECB, CSSF, EBA)
Knowledge of French
Where: Luxembourg, on-site presence required
