About the Role
We are currently seeking professional and reliable Casual Security Officers to join our team supporting a data centre security operation in Homebush. This role requires officers who are vigilant, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a high-security technology environment.
We are currently seeking professional and reliable Casual Security Officers to join our team supporting a data centre security operation in Homebush. This role requires officers who are vigilant, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a high-security technology environment.
The position primarily involves patrolling duties and access control, ensuring the site remains secure and all visitors, contractors, and staff comply with security procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular internal and external patrols of the data centre facility
- Manage access control points and verify authorised entry
- Monitor security systems and respond to alarms or incidents
- Maintain accurate incident reports and security logs
- Provide a professional security presence and customer service
- Follow all site-specific security procedures and protocols
Requirements
- Valid NSW Security Licence
- First aid and CPR certificate
- Previous data centre security experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Professional presentation and reliability
- Ability to work independently and follow strict procedures
