As we scale, we are investing deeply in Lean principles to ensure our facility, people, and processes operate at the highest standard.

The Role

We are seeking a Lean Plant Manager to lead the implementation and maturation of Lean thinking across our manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-floor role focused on continuous improvement, waste elimination, standardization, and developing a culture of operational excellence.

This role will serve as the architect and driver of Lean transformation, working cross-functionally to elevate how work is done every day.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the rollout and ongoing implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles across the facility
  • Establish and sustain Lean systems including: 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Kaizen events, Gemba walks, Root cause analysis (A3, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
  • Serve as the primary Lean educator and coach, training team members at all levels
  • Build a culture where continuous improvement is owned by everyone—not dictated
  • Develop and track KPIs related to process stability, flow, waste reduction, and efficiency
  • Facilitate problem-solving sessions and continuous improvement workshops
  • Ensure improvements are documented, standardized, and sustained
  • Champion safety, quality, and efficiency simultaneously—never trading one for another
  • Be present on the floor daily, observing, listening, and leading by example

Skills and Qualifications We are Looking For:

  • Proven experience implementing Lean in a manufacturing environment (min 5 years)
  • Formal training or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement (Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Lean as a culture, not just a toolset
  • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to influence without authority
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Bilingual: fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
  • Experience working alongside Quality systems (ISO, SOP-driven environments a plus)

Physical Demands / Work Environment

  • Active throughout the shift (standing, lifting, moving materials)
  • Production setting with exposure to noise, tools, and equipment
  • PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required and provided

Location & Relocation

  • This is an on-site role in Miami, Florida
  • Open to candidates currently outside the area who are fully committed to relocating to Miami within 3 months.

Pay: $78,000.00 - $121,000.00 per year
