The Sales, Functions & Events Coordinator plays a key role in delivering exceptional client and guest experiences while supporting the functions team. This position focuses on planning, coordinating, and executing events, driving sales, and providing administrative support to ensure the success of functions and events at the venue.
Key responsibilities include managing reservations, addressing guest queries, and maintaining CRM systems, alongside coordinating with suppliers and supporting proactive sales efforts. You will plan and execute events, liaise with clients, prepare essential documentation, and oversee event delivery to ensure seamless operations and outstanding service. Additionally, this role involves handling payments, ensuring compliance with liquor licensing and health and safety standards, and promoting a proactive safety culture.
Ideal candidates bring 1+ years of industry experience, proficiency in CRM and event management tools, and knowledge of liquor licensing and safety protocols (with LCQ and manager’s certificate preferred). Strong communication, organizational skills, sales expertise, and professionalism are vital for success in this role.
