Apollo Tyres Ltd is an international tyre manufacturer and the leading tyre brand in India. The company has multiple manufacturing units in India and a unit each in The Netherlands and Hungary. The company markets its products under its two global brands – Apollo and Vredestein, and its products are available in over 100 countries through a vast network of branded, exclusive and multi-product outlets.

Reports to (Position): Div Head - ROA Sales
Department/Function:

Major Responsibilities:

1. Premium Brand Positioning: Establish Apollo as a premium brand in respective markets/segments through strategic product and pricing approaches.

2. Distribution & Sales Excellence: Manage distributors, drive secondary sales, and conduct market mapping to identify channels, customers, and product opportunities.

3. Channel Development & Penetration: Support distributors in developing retail channels, achieving desired penetration, and maximizing extraction through the Apollo Way (application fitting, tire care, and range selling).

4. Customer & Fleet Management: Generate demand, retain customers, and manage fleet accounts to drive business growth.

5. Market Insights & Performance: Monitor product performance, track competitor activities, identify new product requirements, and manage claims to inform business decisions.

6. Financial & Brand Management: Achieve budget targets and execute branding activities as per guidelines and plans to drive business growth and brand visibility.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in sales, distributor management, or related roles.

Education: Engineering degree with MBA.
