Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Key Accounts Representative to join a fast paced and growing distribution company. Duties
- Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products or services
- Check in with customers along scheduled route to collect stocking levels and place orders
- Upsell additional products or services to maximize customer satisfaction and sales opportunities
- Maintain accurate pricing information and adjust quotes as needed to meet customer requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and building lasting relationships
- Organize daily routes for efficient driving, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding route updates, customer feedback, and sales progress
- Schedule meetings with new potential customers that fit business model and work with vendors to onboard new clients meeting sales goals
- Job may require overnight stays throughout the month normally not exceeding 2-4 nights.
Experience
- Previous experience in sales is required.
- Special consideration for candidates with experience selling commercial laundry chemicals, paper products, disposable foodservice products & janitorial/sanitation products.
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record
- Strong math skills for pricing calculations, route planning, and inventory management
- Excellent communication skills to connect with diverse customers and team members
Compensation
- Yearly salary beginning at $30,000
- $500/month car allowance
- Company cell phone
- Company card used for business expenses
- Aggressive commission package for new business
