Sales Team Member For Pet Treat Company ( Christmas Pop Up Holiday Markets)

Nepalaya Chews is Maple Ridge and Langley, BC based pet treat company. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Team Member for the holiday season markets. Our pop up markets will take place across different locations in the lower mainland and fraser valley (mostly Surrey, Langley, Delta, Langley, Abbotsford and Chilliwack). As a Sales Team Member, you will play a pivotal role in representing our brand at various pop-up markets and events for the coming holiday season. You will operate independently before and during the market. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Pick up market equipment and merchandise from the storage unit.
• Commuting to and from the market/trade fair location ( In the lower mainland and Fraser Valley).
• Setting up the booth at the market according to the predetermined layout.
• Run the pop-up booth indoors( all indoors during holiday season) or outdoors(in summer) at the pop-up artisan or farmers market .
• Interacting with customers and educating them about our brand's story and products.
• Engaging in sales efforts to drive revenue and meet sales targets.
• Engage with customers and have them sign up for email newsletter form.
• Return market equipment to the storage unit.

- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems to process sales efficiently.

- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and maximize sales opportunities.

- Ensure the sales floor is well-organized and visually appealing at all times.

*Experience*

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is required.

- Strong skills in cashiering and cash handling are essential for this role.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

- Self-motivated to achieve individual sales goals.

- Strong customer service skills

- Hold a valid BC driver's license with a good driving record and can drive to different market locations.

Schedule:

- Shifts are primarily on Saturdays and Sundays between Nov 1 and Dec 15. Some Fridays may be required.

- There is opportunity to work permanent part time weekends in 2026.

Must have reliable vehicle to drive to several locations across the lower mainland. Gas allowance is provided. Must have reliable smartphone with internet data.

Paid training will be provided on site at a pop up market.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $19.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 20 per week
