Salon Receptionist / Assistant

Gravity Salon Professionals has opening for receptionist / assistant.

As our salon receptionist, you will be required to maintain the salon atmosphere by guiding guests through their experience. This position also requires working very closely with our stylists in ensuring that they are giving the best service possible to customer.

An ideal candidate would be required to work under pressure, be able to multitask and complete tasks without supervision. This position requires someone to be available a mix of daytime and evenings.

Salon has three levels so having the ability to go up and down stairs is a necessity.

• Minimum 1-year experience as a Receptionist or Administrate Support
• speak fluent English
• Strong/Clear written and verbal communication is required
• Interpersonal skills (Communicating with both internal staff and customers)
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Answer phone/ email inquiries throughout the day (voicemail follow ups from night before, if any)
• Computer skills, Book appointments for new and regular clients
• Social media
• Fashion Forward
• organized and can work independently
• Unpack orders, label with prices, update inventory and face on shelves when needed
• Experience communicating via email, book and manage appointments
• Check and respond to emails and voicemails throughout the day
• Opening and closing procedures - register, counting cash, end of day closing
• Help with keeping salon maintained, such as laundry (salon towels)
• Dependable and punctual
• Starting at $20.00

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
