Job Description

We are seeking a midlevel associate to join the Commercial Disputes practice in our dynamic San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of experience with general commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout California. Candidates should have experience independently conducting research, drafting substantive pleadings and motions, and organizing, conducting and responding to discovery. Desire and aptitude for taking and defending depositions is needed, but prior deposition experience is not required. Candidates should also have some experience participating in hearings and depositions and interfacing directly with clients.

Candidates must have a J.D. from an accredited law school and be admitted and in good standing as a member of the California Bar. Clerkship or journal experience preferred but not required. Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We require strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, strong work ethic, and exceptional research and writing abilities. We desire candidates with a commitment to providing the highest quality client service.

Base Compensation $250,000 - $365,000 / year

The compensation salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors.
