The School District of West Salem is right next door to La Crosse in the beautiful Coulee Region of Western Wisconsin. Our 3 buildings are within walking distance of each other on an approximate 100-acre campus on the edge of town. Students in grades 4-12 are issued MacBooks or iPads as part of its 1:1 digital learning environment.

The School District of West Salem is seeking a qualified individual who would like the opportunity to become part of our Nutrition Services Team while serving the students of our community.

School District Employees must have strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and the ability to work well with adults, children of all ages and the public. Our Mission: Serve with Passion to Ignite Creativity, Innovation, and Excellence

Joining our team will make a positive impact on the students of our community.

Elementary School - 10:00 a.m. -1:15 p.m., 5 days a week (3.25 hours per day/school year)

Prep food, clean tables, dishes, tasks as needed, serving line, occasional cooking, Point of Service/cash sales at computer.

Qualifications

Actively and regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear, and taste and smell. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. ServSafe/Sanitation Certification is desired.

Must be comfortable using a computer.

Additional Requirements
