Millennium Power Services is seeking a Seasonal Valve Technician Helper to support our valve service team during peak operational periods, with a home base in Westfield, MA and travel to customer sites as needed. This temporary, hands-on role is ideal for individuals with mechanical aptitude who are looking to gain experience in industrial valve service and field work.

As a Seasonal Valve Technician Helper, you will assist experienced technicians with the inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of industrial valves. This role focuses on providing practical, on-the-job support while following established safety and quality standards. The position requires flexibility, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

This role includes travel to customer sites, where you will support valve service activities across various industries. Both shop and field assignments are expected.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in valve technology is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Valve Technician or in a related field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with different types of valves and their applications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in using precision tools and instruments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights.
• Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

We offer:

• 20% Field work differential
• $65.00 Per diem
• Overtime opportunities
