Seeking Plumber/Gasfitter For Modular/Camp Installations - Travel Required

We primarily provide installations and service to remote camps and offices in the oil and gas, mining, forestry industries and rapid housing industries. We support our clients all over Canada but mainly operate in Alberta, BC, and Ontario.

Job Description

We are seeking 3rd Year to Journeyman plumbers/gasfitters for remote camp installations, dismantles, winterization, and service calls.

A typical job would consist of:

- Installation of any of the following: Single & Multi Story modular complexes, Dorms, Wellsites, Wet sleepers, Rig camps

- Installation of above and below grade drainage systems

- Installation of PVC, Copper, Aquarise, PEX water systems

- Installation of propane or natural gas piping and regulators

- Commissioning and repairing of plumbing fixtures, plumbing systems, gas lines, furnaces, and water heaters.

- Installation of sewage lift stations, sewer and water holding tanks, potable water pump houses

Requirements

- Modular camp installation and service experience (highly preferred)

- Willing to travel, and be flexible to irregular shifts

- Drivers License and good driving record

- CSTS 2020

- ESC Fall Protection Ticket

- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test as required by clients

First Aid, Elevated Work Platforms, H2S, Confined Space, WHMIS 2015, Skid Steer, Telehandler (Considered an asset but not mandatory to start)

Other

- 10 hour daily shift is typical (some projects up to 12 )

- Camp or hotel accommodation provided (meals provided in camp, living out allowance for food is paid out if staying in a hotel)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $28.00-$44.00 per hour
