Short description:

Hexagon is looking for a Senior Accountant (m/f/d) to join our finance team in Sweden, where you'll play a key role in driving financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance. In this hybrid role, you’ll take ownership of key financial processes and contribute to the success of a global technology company.

We have offices in both Eskilstuna and Gothenburg, and you’re welcome to work from either location.

Tasks in detail:

• Weekly and monthly Status sales reporting for Hexagon Metrology Nordics.
• Monthly P&L and Balance Sheet, including disclosure forms, and OneStream reporting.
• Monthly analytical review of the financial results.
• IFRS Leasing Reporting.
• Balance Sheet reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations/recharges.
• Manage local statutory reporting and audits.
• Ensure all local reporting obligations are met, including VAT, Social costs, EU sales reports, Intrastat, Statistical reports, and experience with tax and VAT returns.
• Hands-on control of accounting.
• Experience in forecasting and FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) to support financial decision-making and budgeting processes.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Accountant with at least 5 years of experience.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good Excel knowledge (e.g. lookups, pivot tables).
• Fluent in both Swedish and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work flexibly to meet tight month and year end deadlines.
• Hands-on mentality and ownership responsibility since only a few of the tasks can be delegated.
• Ability to establish good working relationships across the Group.
• Ideally, some experience with Sweden's local tax regulations, but training will be provided.
